At present, the only way for tourists to visit Culebra is via Airplane.  Flights from SJU and Isla Grande Regional Airport in San Juan or Ceiba Regional Airport, near Fajardo on the East side of the island.

Ferry (Currently Unavailable to Tourists)

Ferrying is the alternative. Culebra is currently serviced by a passenger ferry or cargo boat, which takes just under 2 hours from Ceiba $4.50 r/t. Guests should check with us regarding the ferry situation and we always recommend that you fly.

Fajardo is about 1.5 hours drive from the San Juan International Airport. Cieba regional airport is another 10 minutes drive via Fajardo on route #3.
