Flying

At present, you can get to Culebra by airplane from San Juan (30 minutes) for $115 with Air Flamenco or Vieques Air Line? r/t or a charter (please see our FAQ section for complete information). Too, you can fly from Ceiba (10 minutes) for $70 r/t (VAL) or by charter (again, take a look under FAQ).

Ferry

Ferrying is the alternative. Culebra is currently serviced by a passenger ferry (approx 1 hour 15 minutes) or cargo boat which takes about 1.5-2 hours from Fajardo $4.50 r/t. Guests should check with us regarding the ferry situation and we always recommend that you fly.

Fajardo is about 1.5 hours drive from the San Juan International Airport.

To get to/from Fajardo options:

You can rent a car one way for approximately $60 plus insurance ($10-15) & a $25 drop off fee OR you can take a taxi for approximately $75.00 (Al Cuellar 787-590-9001) to $100.00 (airport taxi not previously arranged).
