Going from Fajardo to Culebra has been a little bit tricky lately with ferry delays and cancellations. However, for the past couple of weeks, and as of today October 11th, it looks as though the schedule is getting back to normal.
The passenger ferry has been leaving Fajardo and heading for Culebra Island daily at 9:00am, 3:00pm, and 7:00pm. And the cargo ferry has been departing on weekdays only from Fajardo to Culebra at 4:00pm daily. If you are planning to take the ferry to Culebra during your visit, you might want to call the main office in Fajardo to get the latest information (787) 863-0705.
Please note, it can be very difficult (nearly impossible) to reach someone in the Fajardo ferry office and the schedule can change on a daily basis depending on weather or mechanical issues.
