If you have tried to get to Culebra by air recently then you know that flights on both Air Flamenco and Vieques Airlink have been limited to charter and a few direct flights from Ceiba.
As of today, October 14th, the latest information we have from both airlines is as follows:
Flamenco Air: Paco (one of the Flamenco Air owners) is coming back to Culebra Island from Washington today where he has been in discussion with the FAA regarding the possibility of returning to regularly scheduled flights. Meanwhile, Flamenco is flying charters from San Juan, so they recommend that you call (787-724-1818 or 787-721-7332) to check with them to see if they have a scheduled charter with space for your desired time.
Vieques Airlink: Vieques Airlink hopes to reinstate scheduled daily flights to Culebra by the beginning November. Currently, Vieques Airlink is only flying charter from San Juan. Scheduled flights are available from Ceiba to Culebra at 7:00am and 12:30pm and from Culebra to Ceiba 1:20pm and 5:30pm. Please call them for further information 787-534-4222.
